PM Shehbaz – Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Bin Abdul Aziz, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia and embassy staff received the Prime Minister and his delegation at Riyadh Royal Airport.
The Prime Minister was invited to attend the WEF meeting by the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and WEF Founder and Executive Chairman Professor Klaus Schwab.

The Prime Minister was accompanied by a high-level delegation including External Affairs Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar and Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb. “The Prime Minister and ministers will participate in WEF discussions on issues related to trade and investment measures, new investment frameworks, restructuring of supply chains, sustainable growth & the energy landscape,” said the Foreign Ministry spokesperson.
A key objective of Prime Minister Sharif’s participation will be to present Pakistan’s stance to the world on global health, financial technologies, information technology, comprehensive development, regional cooperation & balanced use of energy in the context of global development.
At the WEF summit, the Prime Minister will also draw the world’s attention to the huge investment opportunities in Pakistan. Furthermore, on the sidelines of the forum, Prime Minister Sharif is expected to participate in bilateral meetings with influential world leaders, heads of international organizations & other prominent figures.PM Shehbaz
Around 1,000 business, government & academic leaders will participate in the Special Meeting on Global Collaboration, Growth & Energy for Development, the WEF said in a press release. The meeting, to be held on April 28-29, will focus on new avenues to revitalize global growth amid the challenges posed by an increasingly fragmented geopolitical & economic environment.PM Shehbaz
