Rizwan Retains – Pakistan wicketkeeper-batsman Muhammad Rizwan managed to retain his third position while batting maestro Babar Azam slipped to fifth place after his average performance in the ongoing series against New Zealand after the ICC released the new rankings for T20 on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Pakistan pacer Shaheen Afridi improved his ranking to 17th position by moving up two places.
In the batting rankings, India’s Suryakumar Yadav maintained the top spot with 861 points, followed by England’s Phil Salt with 802 points.
Rizwan Retains ICC Ranking
In the T20 bowling category, spinners dominate the rankings. England’s Adil Rashid holds the first spot with 726 points, followed by Sri Lanka’s Hasaranga in second place with 687 points and West Indies’ Akeal Hosein in third position.
Apart from Rizwan, Babar & Shaheen, Shadab Khan is ranked 24th. However, in the bowling rankings, no Pakistani player is included in the top 10.
