Chicken prices rise across Lahore and other Punjab cities

Chicken prices rise – Poultry meat prices have increased in Lahore and across Punjab, adding financial pressure on people already battling inflation.

In late April and early May, the price of chicken was Rs 400 per kg, but within weeks it shot up to between Rs 120 and Rs 150. Retailers in Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Faisalabad are ignoring the prices set by the government and selling chicken at much higher prices.
